Every machine is identified by a unique QR code which is stuck on the side of the machine. The hospital team is provided with the AKAS app and a login. All machine related details, service information, updates, technical and clinical information will be available to the customer through the app.
The location of the machine gets stored when one scans the unique QR code of the machine. This data is available in the app for the biomedical team to view. This helps in locating the syringe pumps.
Syringe and Infusion pumps are of large quantity in corporate and multi-speciality hospitals. This asset geotagging feature enables the biomedical team to account large number of Syringe and Infusion pumps with ease and also prevent theft and loss.
Scan the QR code after logging into the app and choose not working option. This autmatically registers a complaint with the service department in the head quarters. The nearest AKAS Infusions authorized service person will be there to service the product. This reduces downtime drastically and improves operational efficiency of the hospitals as multiple follow-ups are no longer required.
Incase of CAMC/AMC customers a preventive maintanence is scheduled and the date of visit to the hospital will be available to the biomedical team to view. This ensures proper planning and saves time of the biomedical engineers in the hospital. Sometimes preventive maintanence schedule for different blocks in the same hospital may be allocated on different dates to help improve the downtime.
Renewals and payments can be made through the AKAS app optionaly as maintaining paper records have become a difficult task and adds to the workload of the biomedical team thereby reducing their efficiency. Downtime report can also be generated to view the service support provided by the organization.
All AKAS pumps have the option to view the used hours. During every update, the used hours is noted through the app for each machine. This can generate the asset utilization report for each ICU and can help in decision making during repeat purchases.
